East Falls Playground Initiative
A group of East falls families have come together to fundraise for a centrally located safe playground in East Falls. We have met our goal thanks to our councilman, Curtis Jones Jr..
In November 2011 a new, safe, accessible playground facility for children ages 2 through 12 years of age was built. It encourages physical fitness and development, social interaction, creative and cognitive growth and imaginative play.
With the support of Councilman Curtis Jones Jr., town businesses, City of Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation, East Falls Community Council, and local families we have raised the money needed towards the project.
Contributions are tax-deductible and can be made to the East Falls Community Council Playground Initiative, P.O. Box 12672 Philadelphia, PA 19129.
Donation of services will also gladly be accepted; arrangements can be made with Sarah Taylor, playground@innyardpark.org, (215) 346-6157.
